What is Up Front Pricing and how does it affect me? Up Front Pricing is a system of pricing based on the items that need service. There are many benefits to Up Front Pricing that make it attractive to customers and contractors alike. First, an accurate exact cost can be presented upfront before any work is done. Since the price is not based on time, there is less ambiguity as to the consumer's final cost. Second, once a contractor and customer agree to a price, that is the set price. If the work takes 10 minutes or 10 hours to complete, the price has already been decided. This protects a consumer by knowing that their contractor will not be gauging them, by working slowly or making unnecessary trips for more material. |
